Two options of steel are used: T304 stainless steel and aluminized steel. Stainless steel will last a lifetime and never rust, while aluminized kits are the affordable way to getting an exhaust system for your car. Aluminized steel usually lasts 5-10 years before wear will occur. The only difference between these two metals is the life the kits will last. There are no weight or sound differences. Aluminized steel kits have a 1 year warranty.
